Hey gang! First things first...you guys are doing great! I've been in the great frozen north of Minnesota trying to pull a fish through a hole in the ice, so my first two days of Fitness February were much more mental than physical. The entire time I was checking my Facebook to see people checking in and sharing their accomplishments. I tried to Like as many posts as I could without any real reliable Internet connection, but know that I'm so thankful that you've all decided to give this a shot with me. We did alright fishing. I didn't personally catch anything, but we had enough fresh walleye to feed six bellies. I even managed to catch a nap or two to help recharge for next week. My lack of activity and increase in calorie intake from my normal routine definitely led to a little weight bump, but I'm feeling fresh and recharged. I'm not too worried about any of those pounds hanging around through Wednesday.
Since I just got home, this is going to be a short one because I have an appointment with a football game. I actually turned down pizza in favor of some fresh, healthy onion rings (I'll do a recipe post in the near future) and some low-fat, low-cal homemade chicken tortilla soup courtesy of Molly. I plan on picking up tomorrow with a two-a-day workout to jump start the week, but for now I'm content enjoying the last 15 hours of my vacation. Keep up the great work...I'll see you tomorrow!
Jeff
P.S. - My prediction is Ravens 30, 49ers 27. Let's win this one for Matt Birk!
